1. Our Mission
The Business Perspective is a global digital business publication committed to delivering accurate, independent, and authoritative journalism to executives, founders, investors, and business professionals worldwide.
Our mission is to inform, analyse, and contextualise the business events, leadership decisions, and market forces shaping the global economy — without fear, favour, or commercial interference.
We hold ourselves to the same standards we expect of the institutions and organisations we cover.
2. Editorial Independence
The Business Perspective operates with complete editorial independence from its commercial operations.
Our editorial decisions — including which stories to cover, how to frame them, which sources to quote, and what conclusions to draw — are made exclusively by our editorial team based on journalistic merit, public interest, and factual accuracy.
No advertiser, sponsor, investor, commercial partner, or external party has any influence over our editorial content, coverage decisions, or editorial positions.
Paid advertising and sponsored content are accepted on the condition that they do not influence, shape, or interfere with our independent journalism. Any attempt to purchase editorial coverage will be refused.
3. Accuracy and Verification
Accuracy is the foundation of everything we publish.
Before publication, every factual claim in our articles is verified against at least one reliable primary source. Where possible, we cross-reference multiple independent sources. We do not publish claims that cannot be verified.
Our verification process includes:
- Reviewing original documents, reports, filings, and data
- Contacting companies and individuals directly for official statements
- Consulting subject matter experts where technical knowledge is required
- Cross-referencing with established wire services, regulatory filings, and peer-reviewed research
- Clearly attributing all statistics and data to their original named source
Where a fact cannot be independently verified, we say so explicitly in the article. Where a claim is disputed, we present all relevant perspectives.
4. Sources and Attribution
4.1 Named Sources
The Business Perspective prioritises named, on-record sources. Quotes and statements attributed to named individuals carry more weight and accountability than anonymous claims.
All interviewees are told clearly that they are speaking to The Business Perspective and that their comments may be published.
4.2 Anonymous Sources
Anonymous sources are used only when the information is of significant public interest and the source would face genuine professional or personal risk if identified. Anonymous sourcing requires editorial approval.
Where anonymous sources are used, we describe them as specifically as possible without compromising their identity (for example: “a senior executive at the company,” “a government official with direct knowledge of the negotiations”).
We never grant anonymity simply because a source requests it. The request must be justified by the circumstances.
4.3 Press Releases and Corporate Communications
Press releases, corporate statements, and official announcements are treated as starting points for reporting, not as finished journalism. We independently verify the claims they contain before publishing.
Where we reproduce a corporate statement or data point from a press release, we attribute it clearly to the issuing organisation.
4.4 Artificial Intelligence and Automated Tools
The Business Perspective may use AI-assisted tools for research, transcription, and editorial support. However, all published content is written, reviewed, and approved by human editors and journalists.
We do not publish AI-generated articles without substantial human authorship, editorial review, and fact-checking. Any use of AI tools in the production of a specific piece will be disclosed where editorially relevant.
5. Impartiality and Balance
We strive to present complex business and economic stories with balance, context, and fairness to all parties involved.
Where a story involves criticism of a company, organisation, or individual, we make every reasonable effort to contact that party for comment before publication and include their response in the article. If a party declines to comment or does not respond within a reasonable deadline, this is stated in the article.
On contested business, policy, and economic issues, we present the strongest available arguments from all credible perspectives rather than presenting only one side.
Balance does not mean false equivalence. Where the evidence clearly supports one conclusion, we say so. We do not manufacture controversy where there is none.
6. Conflicts of Interest
6.1 Staff and Contributors
All editorial staff and regular contributors are required to disclose any personal, financial, or professional relationships that could create a real or perceived conflict of interest with the subjects they cover.
Editorial staff may not hold financial positions — including stocks, equity, or other instruments — in companies they cover on a regular basis.
Where a conflict exists or could reasonably be perceived, the affected journalist does not cover that story. Another team member takes over.
6.2 Organisational Conflicts
The Business Perspective will not cover its own commercial partners, investors, or affiliates without clearly disclosing the relationship. Where such coverage is published, the disclosure appears prominently at the top of the article.
6.3 Gifts and Hospitality
Editorial staff do not accept gifts, hospitality, travel, or any other benefit from the companies or individuals they cover that could compromise — or appear to compromise — their independence.
Press trips, product loans for review purposes, and event invitations are accepted only when editorially justified and are always disclosed in the resulting article.
7. Sponsored Content and Native Advertising
The Business Perspective accepts sponsored content and native advertising on the following strict conditions:
- All sponsored and partner content is clearly and prominently labelled as “Sponsored,” “Partner Content,” “Advertorial,” or “Advertisement” at the top of the piece
- Sponsored content is never presented in a format that could be mistaken for independent editorial content
- Our editorial team does not write sponsored content — it is produced separately by our commercial team or the sponsor, subject to review for factual accuracy and compliance with our standards
- Sponsors have no influence over adjacent editorial content or coverage decisions
- We do not accept sponsored content that makes false, misleading, or unverifiable claims
Readers who believe a piece of content is improperly labelled are encouraged to contact us.
8. Headlines and Article Framing
Headlines must accurately represent the content of the article. We do not use misleading, sensationalist, or clickbait headlines that misrepresent the story.
Article introductions must fairly represent the main findings, conclusions, or news value of the piece. We do not bury important context or qualifications that would materially change how a reader understands a story.
Data, statistics, and research findings are presented with the full context needed to interpret them accurately — including sample sizes, methodologies, dates, and the identity of the organisation that produced them.
9. Corrections and Clarifications
We take errors seriously and correct them promptly and transparently.
When an error is identified — whether by a reader, a subject of our coverage, or internally — we:
- Correct the error in the original article as quickly as possible
- Add a clearly labelled Correction Notice at the top or bottom of the article, specifying what was wrong and what the correct information is, along with the date of correction
- Notify the affected party where the error concerned them directly
Minor typographical or grammatical corrections that do not affect the substance of an article are made silently. Factual corrections are always disclosed.
We do not delete articles to avoid accountability. Where an article requires substantial revision, the nature of the revision is disclosed to readers.
Correction requests can be submitted at: aatishkathawate.33333@gmail.com with the subject line Correction Request — The Business Perspective.
10. Right of Reply
Any individual, company, or organisation that is the subject of critical coverage in The Business Perspective has the right to submit a formal response.
Responses that are factual, relevant, and proportionate will be considered for publication as a follow-up article, a published letter, or an appended statement on the original article at editorial discretion.
Responses that are defamatory, legally threatening, or factually inaccurate will not be published but will be reviewed by our editorial team.
11. Legal Threats and Editorial Pressure
The Business Perspective does not alter, suppress, or remove editorial content in response to legal threats, complaints from powerful parties, or commercial pressure.
Where we receive a formal legal notice relating to published content, we review it carefully with qualified legal counsel. If the content is found to be factually accurate and lawfully published, it remains published regardless of the pressure applied.
We document all attempts to suppress our journalism and may report on such attempts where it is in the public interest to do so.
12. Diversity and Inclusion in Coverage
The Business Perspective is committed to covering the full breadth of the global business community. Our coverage does not disproportionately centre on a single geography, demographic, or type of business.
We actively seek out stories from underrepresented communities, emerging markets, and voices that are not routinely covered in mainstream business media.
Our editorial team is committed to avoiding language, framing, or assumptions that reflect bias on the basis of gender, nationality, ethnicity, age, or background.
13. Google News and Publisher Platform Standards
The Business Perspective publishes content in full compliance with the editorial and content policies of Google News, Google Publisher Center, Bing News, and Apple News.
This includes:
- Clear authorship attribution and publication date on every article
- No cloaking, hidden text, keyword stuffing, or deceptive SEO practices in editorial content
- No automatically generated, aggregated, or AI-produced content published without human editorial oversight
- Transparent and accurate representation of the site’s ownership, funding, and editorial team
- No paid links or link schemes embedded in editorial content
- No content designed to deceive readers about its origin, authorship, or factual basis
14. Reader Feedback and Editorial Complaints
We value reader feedback and take editorial complaints seriously.
Readers who wish to raise a concern about our editorial standards, report an error, or submit a correction request can contact us at:

When material changes are made, the “Last Reviewed” date at the top of this page is updated and a notice is published on the site.
